KUCHING: The Cat Museum, Petra Jaya will be closed on Sunday.
According to North Kuching City Hall (DBKU), the closure of the museum on that day is due to the power outage on that day.
For the record, the Cat Museum was founded in 1993 and owned by the DBKU.
It is a gallery featuring works by Japanese photographer Satoru Tsuda and four galleries containing over 4,000 artifacts including paintings and memorials related to cats.
The Cat Museum exhibits include a mummified cat from ancient Egypt, a gallery of feline-related advertising, and the five species of wild cats found in Borneo.
