KUCHING: The conclusion of the National Jounalists Day (Hari Wartawan Nasional or HAWANA 2024) on Monday afternoon saw Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim departed for Kuala Lumpur from the Kuching International Airport (KIA) at 7.05 pm yesterday night after attending the HAWANA 2024 summit.
Anwar’s departure at KIA was seen off by Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and Minister of Utility and and Telecommunication Sarawak, Datuk Sri Julaihi Narawi.
Earlier, Anwar had the opportunity to hold a closed door meeting with Abang Johari in addition to receiving a courtesy visit from the 2024 Sarawak Level Gawai Dayak festival celebration committee group led by Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
Also on the way home was the Minister of Communications, Fahmi Fadzil.
