ASAJAYA: In the midst of his duty visits to many rural health clinics in the state, Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni also paid an official working visit to the Sadong Jaya Health Clinic on Friday.
The purpose of the visit was to review the condition of the Sadong Jaya Clinic which requires attention from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
While there, he inspected the Clinic’s Outpatient Department, laboratory space and staff residential barracks.
He and his entourage were also briefed on the operation area and services of the Sadong Jaya Health Clinic as well as the clinic’s development plan which was presented by the officer-in-charge, Dr Hasmah Jamil.
Earlier, Lukanisman also made a working visit to the Sambir Health Clinic, Asajaya to check on the health facilities such as the clinic building and staff housing barracks.
During the visits, he expressed his appreciation to all health workers for constantly improving the quality of service despite the lack of facilities and equipment.
Also present were Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee and Sarawak Health Department director Dr Veronica Lugah.
