LUBOK ANTU: The Sarawak government is working on upgrading rural clinics through the Program Memacu Kehidupan, as stated by Deputy Minister of International Trade, Industry, and Investment, Datuk Dr. Malcolm Mussen Lamoh.
Mussen mentioned that the program is a social impact initiative aimed at improving basic medical services in rural clinics.
“This program is a collaborative effort with Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) as the sponsor, the Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (SABATI) as the project owner, and the Sarawak State Health Department and the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) as supporting agencies,” he explained.
He made these remarks while speaking at the Handover Ceremony of Basic Medical Supplies to Batang Ai Health Clinic recently.
During the same event, he allocated RM10,000 for the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) Nanga Mepi Phase 1.
