KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar warmly welcomed Malaysia’s ninth Prime Minister Datuk Patinggi Ismail Sabri Yaakob during a courtesy visit at the Astana Negeri Sarawak here today (Dec 12).
The visit was part of the former prime minister’s brief official working trip to Sarawak in his capacity as Malaysia Family Foundation chairman.
As a gesture of appreciation, Wan Junaidi hosted a luncheon for Ismail Sabri and his delegation at the dining hall. The event concluded at 1.30 pm when the delegation departed for their next engagements.
Deputy Minister of Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Mohamad Razi Sitam was also present.
