BALAI RINGIN: The multipurpose hall of SK Gawang Empili here is now completed for the full usage of its community.

According to Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Snowdan Lawan, the construction of the new hall was funded under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project at a cost of RM300,000.

Additionally, as the Balai Ringin assemblyman, he also allocated RM15,000 to support and facilitate activities to be organised by the school.

During the opening of the hall, Snowdan was invited and given the honour of signing the hall’s inauguration plaque.

Speaking about the “Majlis Merarau Bersama Pemimpin” event held simultaneously, he said that it reflects the Sarawak government’s commitment to listening to the concerns and suggestions of the people.

“This is crucial in the government’s efforts to provide the best facilities for its people, particularly in the fields of education and community development.”

Also present were Balai Ringin sub-district officer Mohd Adam Muslim, community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) from the Balai Ringin area and the SK Gawang Empili community.
