KUCHING: AZAM Sarawak kicked off the new year with an inspiring staff assembly, reinforcing its commitment to progress and collaboration under the theme “Movement for Progress.”
The event, held at Kompleks AZAM today (Jan 3), saw key announcements and initiatives aimed at advancing the organisation’s mission.
AZAM Sarawak CEO Ali Suhaili highlighted the importance of enhancing the organisation’s reputation as a leading NGO through strategic partnerships with organisations such as TEGAS and the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC).
“With the support of all stakeholders, we aim to achieve greater impact and make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve,” he said in a statement.
Hassnal Hakim, Strategic Communication, Media, and Youth Relations Manager, and President of the AZAM Club Fit and Fun, emphasised the unifying nature of the assembly.
“This event provides an excellent opportunity to unite everyone with a shared vision for the year ahead,” he said.
In line with the theme, AZAM Sarawak launched the “AZAM Progress Fit Challenge,” a six-month wellness initiative encouraging staff to adopt healthier lifestyles.
The challenge, which includes a range of attractive rewards culminating in a grand prize of RM1,000, aims to incentivise staff participation.
