Miri district police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed that officers from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division carried out the operations on the evening of Jan 18 (Saturday).

The first raid, conducted at 5 pm, resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old suspect outside his residence.
