MIRI: The Bakti Madani (PBM) 2025 programme has announced the postponement of two major events due to the ongoing flood situation affecting several areas here..
Organisers said the PBM Miri 2025: Sarawak Maju Makmur programme, initially scheduled for Feb 7 to 9 at Miri City Stadium, has been deferred.
Additionally, the PBM Subis programme, set for February 8 at Sepupok Open Hall, Niah, has also been postponed.
According to the organisers—Project Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU) and Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA)—the decision was made to allow all relevant agencies to focus on providing assistance to flood-affected communities.
They assured that the events will be rescheduled, with new dates to be announced in due course.
