KUCHING: The Sarawak Tourism Board’s booth at the International Trade Business (ITB) Berlin Convention 2025 will proceed as planned.
In a statement, the board clarified that a minor technical issue with the booth’s structure is currently being addressed by its contractor in Germany.
“The booth remains intact and will be fully operational as scheduled for our official launch on March 5,” it stated.
The board also invites all visitors to experience the best of Sarawak at ITB Berlin 2025.
Earlier, a Facebook post circulated claiming that the Sarawak booth at ITB Berlin had been shut down due to structural safety concerns and that the police had cordoned off the exhibit.
ITB Berlin 2025 will take place from March 4 to 6 at the Berlin Exhibition Centre in Germany.
