KOTA SAMARAHAN: Traffic congestion is expected to ease with the completion of a new road connecting Jalan Datuk Mohammad Musa to Jalan Stutong Baru.
Stakan assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Brahim said he was informed by the contractor that the road will be completed either by the end of this year or next year.
“This is one of the federal government projects requested by the state government to create more access roads here,” he said to reporters during his Hari Raya Open House event at the Stakan service centre on Sunday.
He hoped that with the existence of the new road, traffic congestion there will be solved.
“I will go down to the ground to see the progress of the road construction,” he added.
