KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi are set to attend the Unity Walk and the Sarawak-level National Day 2025 gathering in Sarikei.
The invitation was extended during a courtesy visit by the celebration’s organising committee to the Astana Negeri in Petra Jaya this morning.
The delegation was led by Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, who also serves as the minister in charge of this year’s celebrations.
Wan Junaidi thanked the organisers for their efforts and expressed hope that the celebration would strengthen unity and foster patriotism among Sarawakians.
He expressed hope that the event would further strengthen unity, foster solidarity, and nurture love for the state and nation among Sarawakians of all backgrounds.
