KUCHING: St Joseph’s International School (SJIS) has once again reinforced its reputation for academic excellence, achieving a 100 per cent passing rate in the 2025 Cambridge International AS Level examinations.
The students delivered strong performances across seven subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Business, Computer Science, and Economics, with average marks of 73 per cent and above, underscoring the success of the school’s balanced curriculum in both sciences and humanities.
Business Studies students attained a perfect record with 100 per cent scoring an A grade, demonstrating exceptional mastery of real-world applications and entrepreneurial principles.
While for Chemistry and Physics, students achieved average scores of 80 per cent, followed closely by Mathematics and Biology at 78 per cent, reflecting consistent strength in STEM subjects.
More than half of the students scored A grades in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while over 80 per cent earned B grades or higher in Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
In Economics, 50 per cent of the cohort achieved at least a B grade.
Top achievers included Andrea Wong, who earned straight A grades in all four subjects, while Issachar Chan Zech and Nicholas Kho each scored three A grades.
Other high-performing students: Carmen Chaw, Eunice Ooi, Jorryn Kong, and Sarah Tan, also recorded multiple distinctions, with at least two A grades each.
The SJIS Principal, Br Robert Teoh FMS, praised both students and staff for their dedication and hard work.

He added that the results reflect not only academic achievement but also the strength of the SJIS community and its shared commitment to excellence.
