“The forum is co-hosted by Sarawak Energy with the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak (MUT) and the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty),” it said.

The forum will be officiated by the Premier with the closing ceremony graced by Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Held under the theme “Partnerships for Our Goals – Sustainable Growth and Prosperity for the Region”, SAREF 4.0 underscores the urgent need for collaboration in achieving shared climate and development targets through renewable energy and regional integration.

“The initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030,

“Since its inception in 2019 as part of a 10-year thought leadership series, SAREF has become a key regional platform for policy dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strategic engagement on sustainable energy,” it said.
