MUKAH: The Liga Setia Raja MUFA 2025 (LSRM 2025) will kick off on August 23, featuring 13 teams battling for the throne.
Organising chairman Abdul Rahman said the annual tournament will see teams split into three groups.
Group A comprises Squad Rhinos, Banqku FC, Medic Mukah FC and Jourdania. Group B features Crackers, Sesuka FC, TNG Legacy FC and Press Metal Sarawak. Group C is the largest, with Jepak 67, PP Academy, Auslander FC, Myteam X MSJ and Tanam FC.
Abdul Rahman, who is also MUFA’s Deputy President, confirmed that the tournament offers a total prize money of RM22,000.
The champions will take home RM10,000 along with the challenge trophy, side trophy and medals.
The runners-up will earn RM6,000, while third and fourth place will receive RM4,000 and RM2,000 respectively.
Matches will be staged at Stadium Mukah, Padang Mesra MDDM and Padang KPSU, with group fixtures to be held on weekends.
The quarterfinals are set for October 4-5, followed by the semi-finals on October 11-12.
The third-place play-off will take place on October 17, with the final scheduled the day after.
The league is organised by MUFA in collaboration with the P213 Mukah Parliamentary Service Centre.
