SRI AMAN: Pusat Cemerlang Tinju (PCT) 1 DIV stole the spotlight after being crowned overall champions in the elite category at the 2025 Sarawak Open Boxing Championship.
The team outperformed a field that included various local clubs, development centres and international challengers.
Meanwhile, Team Sarawak emerged as overall winners in the youth category (SUKMA age group).
The announcement was made at the closing ceremony following 19 finals contested across different weight classes at the Sri Aman Indoor Stadium last night.
Both winning teams received trophies, presented by Sarawak Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) permanent secretary Morshidi Fredrick.
Boxing legend, Sapok Bik, accepted the prize on behalf of PCT 1 DIV, while assistant coach Wilbur Buag Ay Andogan received the trophy for the state squad.
