SIBU: The Sarawak Zone 2025 ‘Ziarah Kasih Programme’ of the Persatuan Isteri, Anak-anak dan Anggota Penjara Malaysia (PERSIAP) was held at the Sibu Central Prison (PPS) Staff Hall on Wednesday.
The programme was officiated by PERSIAP’s president, Datin Rosnani Mohamed, who was accompanied by the PERSIAP Sarawak’s chairperson, Melissa Anne Inddu, and the PERSIAP PPS Branch’s chairperson, Salbiah Hassan.
Also present were the PERSIAP Bintulu Correctional Centre Branch’s chairperson, Norzeehan Muhd Satar, and other PERSIAP PPS Branch Committee members.
During the event, donations were given to 17 recipients from special children and three recipients from wives of PPS staff who suffer from chronic illnesses.
All the recipients of donations were the children and wives of PPS staff.


In her opening speech, Rosnani expressed her joy at successfully implementing the programme at PPS.
She also reminded that all branch heads should always be concerned about the welfare of staff and families working in their respective institutions.
“Hopefully this welfare programme will continue in the future,” she added.
