KUALA LUMPUR: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg chaired a meeting with Members of Parliament (MPs) and senators from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) here on Monday.

The Premier, who arrived at around 8:00 pm, was welcomed by GPS MPs and senators attending the session.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof; Senate Speaker, Senator Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah; State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; and Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

The meeting lasted about three hours.

Held in conjunction with the opening of the new parliamentary session, the gathering served as a platform for discussions and updates between the Premier and GPS leaders at the federal level, including reports on the latest developments in their respective ministries.
