KUCHING: The 14-year-old girl who was reported missing here earlier this week has been found and is now safely back home.
Padawan District police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi confirmed that the teenager, identified as Fenny Chong Jia Xin, has reunited with her family.
Fenny’s father also took to Facebook to thank the public, writing, “I am Fenny Chong’s father. I would like to inform that my daughter has been found and brought home safely. Thank you, everyone.”
Earlier, police had appealed for public assistance to locate Fenny, who was reported missing since Oct 21.
Mohd Irwan said Fenny was last seen at Mile 5, Jalan Semeba, at 11 pm that day.
