Abang Johari meets GPS MPs and senators ahead of new parliamentary session

KUALA LUMPUR: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg chaired a meeting with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) MPs and senators here, yesterday (Jan 17).

Abang Johari, who arrived at about 8pm, was welcomed by GPS MPs and senators who attended the session.

Among those present were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Senate Speaker Senator Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah and State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.

The meeting, which lasted about two hours, was held in conjunction with the opening of the new parliamentary session scheduled to begin tomorrow (Jan 19).

The gathering served as a platform for discussions and updates between the Premier and GPS leaders at the federal level, including briefings on the latest developments in their respective ministries.
