TATAU: Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a wanted person to facilitate investigations into a shop break-in case here.
Tatau police chief DSP Jame Reis said the suspect is wanted in connection with a case investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
The individual sought is Johnny Jilan, also known as Johnny, aged 45, whose last known address is Rumah Maling, Rantau Panjang, Sepupok, Niah.
Members of the public with information on the suspect’s whereabouts, are urged to report them to the police.
They can do so by contacting assistant investigating officer Sgt Datu Muhammad Shah Datu Abdel Khan at 017-8988659 or report to the nearest police station.
Jame advised the public not to take matters into their own hands and to immediately inform the police should they encounter the individual.
