RABAT, Morocco: President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary and a member of the Guardian Council of the Constitution will temporarily lead the country after the death of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the Russian News Agency (TASS), which cited the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), they will lead the country during the transitional period.

Earlier IRNA reported that Khamenei has been killed following an attack by Israel and the United States.
