Served from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, the buffet leans heavily into beloved masakan kampung – dishes many Malaysians grew up with at home, now presented in generous trays that invite diners to help themselves and return for seconds (or thirds) without hesitation.

A taste of kampung comfort

The buffet line opens with savoury dishes that immediately signal home-style warmth.

From the first glance, Terung Bersambal tempts with tender slices of eggplant coated in a luscious, spicy sambal, while Telur Bersambal – hard-boiled eggs drenched in the same fiery sauce – offers a simple, satisfying bite that pairs perfectly with warm rice.

For those craving something more flavoursome and a bit spicy, Daging Dendeng delivers a deeper, caramelised taste. Thinly sliced beef, cooked until lightly crisp and coated in a sweet-and-smoky sambal glaze, is the kind of dish you’ll keep going back for.

Another highlight that evokes the kampung kitchen is Umbut Nior Masak Lemak Putih. Tender coconut shoots, gently simmered in creamy coconut gravy, provide a mild, soothing contrast to the spicier dishes on the table.

Vegetable lovers will find the Sayur Campur with Japanese Tofu irresistible: lightly fried tofu adds a golden, silky bite to a colourful mix of tender, lightly cooked vegetables – a refreshing counterpoint to the richer offerings that keeps diners coming back for more.

No Malaysian buffet would be complete without crowd-pleasers, and Aisha’s Lunchbox delivers with staples such as Kari Ayam and Ayam Masak Merah – comforting, familiar, and impossible to resist.

Diners can also help themselves to a spread of Ulam-ulaman – crisp, fresh herbs and greens that balance the richness of the heavier dishes – alongside the ever-essential Sambal Belacan, whose pungent, fiery kick brings everything together.

Seafood and smoky grill favourites

Seafood also plays a starring role in the buffet.

Among the highlights is Udang Cili Ala Singapura – plump prawns coated in a glossy, tangy-sweet chilli sauce that practically begs for extra rice to soak up every drop.

Nearby, Ikan Bawal Masam Manis steals the show with its crispy fried fish bathed in a bright sweet-and-sour sauce, balancing tangy, savoury and slightly fruity notes in every bite.

If you prefer something punchy and spicy, Ikan Pari Asam Pedas promises a bold, aromatic experience. The stingray simmers in a fiery gravy infused with tamarind and spices, warming the palate and awakening the appetite.

Beyond the cooked dishes, the buffet also features fresh seafood, including prawns and mussels, offering a simple, ocean-fresh contrast to the heavier flavours.

And what really adds excitement to the evening is the live grilling station.

Here, diners can watch as Kambing Bakar and Sotong Bakar sizzle on the hot grill, their fragrant, smoky scent drifting through the dining area and drawing curious guests closer.

Tender squid emerges lightly charred, while the grilled lamb carries a rich, savoury scent that pairs perfectly with spicy dipping sauces. It’s no wonder this station quickly becomes one of the most popular stops of the night.

Despite the generous spread, the buffet remains surprisingly accessible.

The Ramadan offering is priced at RM79 for adults, while children aged 6 to 12 dine for RM35. Even better for families, children below five eat for free, making it easier for larger households to gather and celebrate together.

Located near Juma’ani Pavilion, Aisha’s Lunchbox also offers ample parking space – a quiet luxury during busy Ramadan evenings.
