KUCHING: A local man was detained during a police raid on an entertainment outlet at Jalan Rock on Saturday night (Mar 7) for failing to produce a valid entertainment licence.
Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said a team from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kuching district police headquarters (IPD) carried out the raid at about 10.10pm.
“Police also seized equipment used at the premises during the inspection,” he said.
Alexson added that police would continue monitoring and conducting enforcement operations to ensure entertainment operators comply with regulations set by the authorities.
