BAU: Police arrested two local men believed to be involved in drug abuse activities.
Bau district police chief Supt Mohd Haide A Rahman said the suspects were detained on Mar 23 during Op Tapis, between 1pm and 5pm.
“A team from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) conducted patrols at Kampung Tanjung Batu and Kampung Buso.
“The team arrested two suspects, aged between 20 and 30, for allegedly being involved in drug abuse activities,” he said in a statement.
Urine screening tests on the suspects showed that both tested positive for drugs.
The case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
