KUALA LUMPUR: National Unity Minister, Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, wishes a happy Good Friday to all Malaysians celebrating the occasion.

In a post on his Facebook page, he invited the public to appreciate the value of sacrifice and love that is the core of universal humanity.

The Kanowit Member of Parliament also hoped that the blessings of the holy day would be filled with peace, and strengthen the spirit of love between fellow human beings regardless of background, religion or race.

He said that mutual respect, understanding and tolerance for each other were the foundations of strong and harmonious national unity.

“As Malaysians, let us continue to foster unity and strengthen the bonds of solidarity for a more peaceful and prosperous future.

“Wishing you a holy and meaningful Good Friday. May the blessings of this sacred day fill your hearts with peace and your lives with love,” he said.

Christians celebrate Good Friday today and it is a public holiday in Sabah and Sarawak. – BERNAMA
