KUCHING: Entrepreneurship meets discipline as St Thomas’ Secondary School Kuching brings back its much-anticipated HEM Day 2026, offering students a hands-on platform to build character while stepping into the world of business.

The annual programme, scheduled to take place from 8 am to 12 pm at the school’s hall and open hall on April 25, aims to instil discipline and strengthen personal development among students through experiential learning.

Beyond the classroom, the event places students at the forefront, with stalls fully managed by both students and teachers, simulating real-world business environments.

According to a press release, a key highlight will be the food and beverage stalls organised by the school’s Prefectorial Board, where students take charge of operations, sales and customer engagement.

In a nod to evolving student interests, the Prefectorial Board has also collaborated with CENTEXS to introduce an e-sports gaming station, adding a digital dimension to the event.

Animal lovers can also look forward to a cat exhibition featuring a variety of breeds, alongside other attractions lined up throughout the day.

The programme is open to the public, with visitors invited to support student-led initiatives while experiencing a lively, community-driven school event.
