KUCHING: Mothers play a vital role in shaping strong and harmonious families through their sacrifices, patience and unconditional love, as Sarawak marked Mother’s Day celebrations today.
Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, conveyed Mother’s Day wishes to mothers across the state and country in a special message issued by Astana Sarawak today (May 10).
Wan Junaidi said mothers have made immeasurable contributions in raising, educating and guiding their children with sincerity and dedication.
He said the sacrifices made by mothers, whether in times of joy or hardship, were invaluable in strengthening family bonds and nurturing future generations.
He added that Mother’s Day should serve as a reminder for society to express appreciation and love towards mothers who have devoted so much to the wellbeing and happiness of their families.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah also prayed that all mothers would continue to be blessed with good health, peace of mind, and lasting blessings and mercy from Allah SWT.
