MIRI: Four stranded kittens were rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped on the roof of a house in Bandar Baru Permyjaya this morning.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) received an emergency call at 8.39am from a resident reporting that the kittens were unable to climb down from the rooftop of a house along Lorong 1B.
A rescue team from the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched immediately and arrived at the scene within minutes.
After assessing the situation, firefighters carried out a careful rescue operation and successfully brought all four kittens to safety without injury.
The operation, which began shortly before 9am, ended at 9.20am.
