KUCHING: Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is appealing to the public for help in locating the next of kin of a woman who has been receiving intensive care treatment for more than a month.
The patient, identified as Rose Khoo, has been warded in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Ward 2 since June 17.
In statement issued by SGH today, hospital admission records list the patient’s registered address as Block 4, No. 112, Ground Floor, RPR Taman Sri Cahaya, Jalan Tondong, 93250 Kuching.
SGH said repeated efforts to trace the patient’s family have so far been unsuccessful, with the contact number recorded during her admission no longer in service.
The hospital is now urging Khoo’s next of kin, or anyone who knows her family members, to come forward as soon as possible to assist with matters relating to her care.
Those with relevant information are requested to come forward and contact Medical Social Work Officer, Rita Fazlin Awang @ Ibrahim at 082-276666 ext. 4374 during office hours or ICU Ward 2 at 082-276666 ext. 2213, as soon as possible.
