Blood donation drive this Sunday

KUCHING: Maybank Private & Premier Wealth Centre will hold a blood donation drive from 9am to 2.30pm on September 8 (Sunday) at their banking premises situated at Crown Towers, Jalan Pending, here.

The activity is part of the bank’s initiatives to give back to the community and is in line with its mission of humanising financial services.

According to its head manager Sim Min Nah, the annual programme is held to ensure adequate blood supply at Sarawak General Hospital’s blood bank.

The drive is organised in collaboration with the Federation of Chinese Associations of Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Division (Youth Section) and supported by Sarawak General Hospital.

The campaign is targeting 120 successful donors. Members of the public are encouraged to come forward to support the blood donation drive.

Successful donors will receive goody bags as tokens of appreciation.
