KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap reiterated his commitment to utilising his annual Rural Transformation Project (RTP) allocation of RM5 million to implement people-centric projects in his constituency.
“These initiatives aim to systematically improve facilities and living standards for all communities in Kota Sentosa,” Yap said in a statement.
Earlier today (Dec 21), he attended a ceremony marking the completion of an RM100,000 RTP project overseen by the Kuching South City Council (MBKS).
The project involved the construction of a futsal court at Lorong 2, Stampin Resettlement Scheme.
“The project was awarded to contractor Keris Damai Sdn Bhd and was completed a month ahead of schedule,” Yap said.
He noted that the futsal court was built in response to numerous requests from local residents during his regular community visits.
“I would like to thank the contractor for diligently carrying out the works,” he added.
“I also want to express my appreciation to the officers from MBKS for their dedication and hard work in monitoring and supervising the contractor.”
