MIRI: The Miri City Council (MCC) was requested on Sunday to put up two canopies and chairs at the main entrance to Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Miri to provide more queuing and waiting areas for people to receive their vaccines.

This request was made by caretaker Minister of Transport  cum incumbent for Senadin Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin during his visit to Miri UTC Jalan KwangTung here on the same day.

Later that day, he proceeded to Tudab Health Clinic to monitor Covid-19 vaccination progress there.

On another note, Lee reminded recipients eligible for booster dose to wait for notification from their MySejahtera application before going to the nearest clinics or vaccination centre.

During the visit, Lee was accompanied by Miri divisional health officer Dr Raviwharmman Packierisamy.
