KUCHING: A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing after she was last seen outside a secondary school in Padawan on Tuesday.
Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the police received a report on the disappearance at about 10.51 pm the same day.
The missing teenager has been identified as Peggy Boon Yee Sing, a Chinese student.
“She was last seen at around 6.30 pm in the vicinity outside SMK Tun Abd Razak,” he said in a statement.
He added that at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue PK T-shirt and black tracksuit pants.
“Police are appealing to members of the public who may have information on the teenager’s whereabouts to come forward to assist in the investigation,” he added.
