KUCHING: AZAM Sarawak, through its AZAM Fit and Fun Club, recently hosted the AZAM Staff Day Out 2025 in Sematan from Feb 14 to 16.
With the theme “Cinta” and the slogan “Kamek Sayang Kelik Mek,” the programme saw the participation of 25 staff members and sought to enhance workplace relationships, boost motivation, and promote fresh and innovative work outcomes.
AZAM SArawak Strategic Communications, Media, and Youth Relations manager cum club chairman Mohd Hassnal Hakim Junaidi, noted on the importance of work-life balance in fostering productivity and a harmonious work environment.
“Collaboration, mutual respect, and support are key to a strong and productive team. This program strengthens these values, ensuring that our workforce remains progressive and united,” he said in a press release yesterday.
He added that the theme “Cinta” was carefully chosen to promote camaraderie and prevent workplace conflicts that could hinder optimal performance.
Meanwhile, AZAM Sarawak chief executive officer Ali Suhaili said such initiatives contribute to both personal and professional growth.
“This initiative allows AZAM officers to think outside the box, explore new perspectives, and spark innovative ideas that can be translated into high-impact community development programmes,” he said.
The three-day event featured a series of interactive and recreational activities, including team-building challenges, beach sports, talent night, and motivational sharing sessions, all designed to refresh the mind and strengthen teamwork.
