KUCHING: Azam Toastmasters Club members delivered outstanding performances at the concluded Toastmasters Area D2 Contest, securing top placements in multiple categories and reinforcing their reputation.
Jason Teo, emerged champion in all three contest categories: International Speech, Table Topics, and Evaluation Contest, showcasing versatility and command in public speaking.
Azam Toastmasters Club president, Rezuan Abdul Rashid, achieved second place in the International Speech Contest and third place in the Table Topics Contest.
The victories at the Area D2 level earned Teo and Rezuan tickets to compete against the winners from Toastmasters Area D1 in the upcoming Toastmasters Division Contest, where champions from this stage will earn the chance to represent their divisions at the Toastmasters Regional Contest.
Chief Executive Officer of Azam Sarawak, Ali Suhaili, said the success achieved by Teo and Rezuan highlights the dedication, resilience, and passion fostered by the Azam Toastmasters Club.
“Their success is a testament to the power of effective communication and leadership, which are crucial skills in today’s fast-paced and dynamic world.
