KUCHING: Dog owners in Bau district are encouraged to bring their pets to the Dog Vaccination and Licensing Programme 2026, which will be held at the Bau District Council compound tomorrow (Saturday, July 4).
Organised by the Bau District Council in collaboration with the Bau Division Veterinary Department, the programme will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The programme offers a range of services free of charge, including dog vaccination, microchip implantation, and dog licensing.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote responsible pet ownership, enhance animal welfare, and strengthen rabies prevention and control measures in the district.
Residents are urged to take advantage of the programme to ensure their dogs are properly vaccinated, microchipped and licensed.
The Bau District Council said the programme is open to all dog owners residing in the district.
