KUCHING: The Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Chamber (DUBS) Central Women’s Council paid a courtesy visit to Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Deputy Minister at the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Law, MA63, and State-Federal Relations).
This visit marked a significant step toward strengthening the relationship between civil society organisations and the government, demonstrating a shared commitment to advancing the women’s agenda in Sarawak.
The primary aim was to discuss women’s and family development issues while fostering collaboration between the DUBS Women’s Council and the state government. Both parties exchanged ideas on empowering women’s rights and welfare in Sarawak.
Juita Drap, Chairperson of the DUBS Central Women’s Council, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the DUBS Women’s Council and the state government in achieving shared goals, particularly in advancing the women’s agenda.
Sharifah Hasidah warmly welcomed the visit and reaffirmed her ministry’s commitment to working closely with the DUBS Women’s Council to develop and implement initiatives that empower and benefit women across Sarawak.
