KUCHING: International recording artist JessC celebrated another milestone in her global music career after receiving three nominations at the 2026 Josie Music Awards in the United States while also announcing a European Gold Award victory during a celebration dinner here on Wednesday (Aug 5).
The nominations for World Artist of the Year, Social Impact Song of the Year and Social Impact Video of the Year were announced before more than 400 guests at the JessC USA Music Awards celebration dinner held at the Grand Riverine Ballroom.
Adding to the celebrations, JessC also revealed that her original song One Chance had been named Gold Winner in the Pop Vocal category at the 2026 Fenix Music Awards in Europe, making her the only Gold Winner worldwide in the category this year.
Speaking at the dinner, JessC described the evening as a celebration of everyone who had supported her journey rather than her personal achievements.
“Tonight (Aug 5) is not about celebrating how many awards I have received. It is about expressing my deepest gratitude to everyone who has walked this journey with me,” she said.
JessC said every international recognition reflected the unwavering support of her family, relatives, teachers, classmates, business partners, media friends, fans and team members who had stood by her throughout her career.
She acknowledged that the road to the international stage had been filled with challenges and unseen pressures, but said the experience had strengthened her determination to remain true to her purpose.
Beyond the latest accolades, JessC’s music continues to reach audiences worldwide through global distribution by Universal Music Group.
Over the past year, she has released original albums in Chinese, English and Malay, with more than 1,500 media reports published across over 30 countries.
Her songs have also been broadcast on more than 150 radio stations in over 100 cities and featured on more than 50 international radio stations and music charts, while her YouTube music videos have surpassed 30 million views.
She has also been featured twice by Rolling Stone and appeared in Billboard Italia.
The celebration concluded with a seven song live performance by JessC, including her newly crowned European Gold Award winning track One Chance, as she thanked supporters for accompanying her throughout her international journey.
