PUTRAJAYA: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is expanding the JPJEID registration channels at driving institutes (IMs) nationwide effective August 5.

JPJ Director-General, Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli, said JPJEID is an account that contains a User ID and Password.

Every Malaysian citizen needs to log in to the MySIKAP public portal and the MyJPJ application.

“With JPJEID registration, citizens can carry out 38 types of JPJ transactions online, including services related to driver licensing,” he said in a statement here today.

Aedy Fadly said for example, individuals who pass the Driving Education Curriculum Test (KPP01) can now continue to apply for a Learner’s Driving Licence (LDL) via the MySIKAP portal.

“After successful payment, the LDL licence will be displayed digitally via the MyJPJ application,” he said.

He said all candidates for learning to drive can now register for JPJeID at any IM to carry out various transactions via the MySIKAP public portal and the MyJPJ application.

He said JPJ hoped the initiative would further facilitate public access to department services and support efforts to fully digitise JPJ services. – BERNAMA
