SIBU: A 20-year-old rider escaped a motorcycle crash with minor injuries at the Aman roundabout today.
The accident is believed to have happened around 2.50 am. A passer-by spotted the victim lying in the ditch of the roundabout and quickly alerted the Civil Defence Force (APM).
APM Sibu district officer Lance Corp Naga Sagai said a team of four members was promptly despatched to the scene to attend to the injured victim.
Initial examinations found that the victim, who was riding his motorcycle alone, complained of pain on his right leg.
First aid was administered to the victim before he was taken to Sibu hospital for further treatment.
