KOTA SAMARAHAN: A wave of new development projects in Samarahan Division is set to enter the tender stage soon.

Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Rubiah Wang said several upcoming projects would soon move into implementation following ongoing coordination with technical agencies.

She said close monitoring and stronger coordination among implementing agencies were necessary to ensure projects could be carried out smoothly and according to schedule.

“Meetings such as this serve as a key platform to identify implementation issues and find the best solutions to ensure the interests of the people continue to be protected.

“Close cooperation among all implementing agencies is essential to ensure every development project can be implemented smoothly, systematically and bring positive impact to the people,” she said.

She said this while chairing the Special Committee Meeting on Samarahan Division Development Projects with technical agencies here yesterday (May 15).

Rubiah, who is also Kota Samarahan MP, said the meeting focused on reviewing the latest progress of projects across Samarahan Division, including challenges affecting implementation.

She said the latest developments reflected the government’s commitment to speeding up development plans, particularly in rural and coastal areas.

She also expressed hope that all planned projects would be implemented effectively to improve basic infrastructure, stimulate economic growth and enhance the wellbeing of communities in Samarahan Division.
