SERIAN: A new site for the Teng Bukap Health Clinic is currently being identified following the closure of its original facility due to safety concerns.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib visited the area to assess the situation on the ground and review the healthcare needs of the local community.
During the working visit, she was first taken to the original clinic site, which has ceased operations due to safety risks.
She later inspected the proposed new site for the clinic, as well as the temporary facility at Dewan Teng Bukap, which is currently being used to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services for residents.
Hanifah also received a detailed briefing on the clinic’s operations at the temporary location, including the challenges faced in maintaining smooth service delivery.
She said the federal Ministry of Health would carefully review the situation and formulate the best approach to address issues related to the clinic’s location and operational challenges.
“The efforts are important to ensure that the local community continues to receive quality and comfortable healthcare services,” she said.
