PAHANG: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has attended the Pahang Heritage Festival at the Royal Craft Village of Tunku Azizah here today (Sept 1).
According to a TVS report, he arrived at 9.30am accompanied by his daughter, Dayang Norjihan.
It said the festival served as a platform to strengthen ties between Sarawak and Pahang, particularly in promoting cultural beauty and sustainability.
Abang Johari first toured the Rumah Serambi Pahang to appreciate the uniqueness of the state’s traditional Malay house, before visiting the Tengku Ampuan I Exhibition Hall to view the royal collection display.
He later visited the Sarawak Pavilion, which showcased handicrafts and artistic heritage of the Land of the Hornbills, as well as the Pahang Arts and Crafts Exhibition and exclusive art displays from several countries, including Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, and Turkiye.
Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, was also present at the event.
