KUCHING: Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah thanked the frontliners and those who have to work on Hari Raya.

“Because of your sacrifices, the people are safe and can celebrate Hari Raya in peace. Thank you and May God grant you safety and wellbeing now and thereafter,” she said.

She then reminded the public to strictly comply with the new and more stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) when celebrating Hari Raya as the positive Covid-19 cases are worryingly high at this point of time.

“Compliance to SOPs has to start with ourselves, our family members and our neighbours. Be accountable for the safety of everyone.

“Don’t be forgetful and complacent. Always be vigilant. Together we can win this fight against Covid-19.

“Selamat Hari Raya and God Bless,” said Fatimah in her Hari Raya greeting on Wednesday.
