Ngemah Assemblyman, Alexander Vincent has urged the state government to expedite the implementation of perimeter and individual lot surveys under Section 18 of the Sarawak Land Code in his constituency.

While delivering his debate on the TYT’s address during the DUN sitting yesterday, Alexander also called for the construction of a road from Nanga Ngungun to Nanga Jagau Rascom Resettlement Scheme until Nanga Simujan in Ulu Ngemah.

“This road project has been approved by the Prime Minister with an allocation of RM50 million,” he said.

He also asked for the implementation of electricity supply via solar power for three longhouses in Ulu Ngemah.

“I also request the government to consider the implementation of this electricity supply project through the Sarawak Alternative Ratification Electricity Supply System (SARES),” he said.

In addition to that, he also requested for the construction of a one-stop centre along the Kanowit-Kapit Road as well as the construction of water treatment plants for Mapai, Kabah, and Sengayan areas.
