KUCHING: St Paul’s Church Bunuk will hold its Blessed Ticket Draw on Aug 30 to raise funds for the construction of its new church building.
The draw will begin at 7.30 pm at Kampung Bratan/Asah Multipurpose Hall, Batu 16, Jalan Puncak Borneo, Kuching.
The event will be officiated by Anglican Diocese of Kuching Bishop, The Right Reverend Bishop Datuk Danald Jute.
Also attending will be Puncak Borneo Member of Parliament Datuk Willie Mongin and Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) director, Datuk Georgina Apphia Ngau.
The grand prize is a Perodua Bezza 1.0 G Automatic, with other prizes including electrical and electronic appliances and consolation prizes.
For those unable to attend, the draw will also be streamed live on social media. Ticket holders can scan the QR code printed on their Blessed Ticket for event details and access to the live broadcast.
Activities will begin from 10.30 am with food and beverage stalls, followed by a children’s drawing competition.
Karaoke song sponsorship will also be available throughout the event, allowing visitors to contribute to the fundraising effort.
St Paul’s Church Bunuk said proceeds from the Blessed Ticket Draw would contribute towards the construction of its new church facility.
The church has called on members of the public to attend the event and support its fundraising efforts.
