MIRI: A visit from members of Lion Clubs International of District 308-A2 Region 4 in Zone 9 comprising of Lions Club of Miri Mandarin, Lions Club of Batu Niah, Lions Club of Lutong and Lambir brought cheers and smile to children at Miri Hospital, recently.
The visit was arranged in conjunction with the upcoming Christmas celebration.
During the visit, Lion Clubs members had put up together goodies bags filled with toys and candies for about 55 children currently at the ward.
“With the visit, we hope to see the children smiling and laughing as we present them the gifts as some of them may be celebrating Christmas in the hospital,” said Lion Club Of Batu Niah president Andy Jong.
