SIBU: A mother was killed whereas her husband and daughter survived when their motorcycle went out of control and crashed at Jalan Sibu-Tanjung Manis at 11.55am on Sunday (Dec 20).
Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said they were riding towards the town centre.
“The father, 49, and daughter, nine, were immediately taken to hospital for treatment. The mother identified as Haisah Basuni, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and then taken to Sibu Hospital,” he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
