BINTULU: A foreign worker had to endure pain for about 30 minutes after his left arm got stuck in a fertiliser machine at Jalan Bintulu Similajau here this morning.

The incident happened around 8.35 am while the 28-year-old Indonesian was on duty at the Twin Arrow factory.

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Kidurong station were promptly deployed to the scene following an emergency call.

The firemen had to use a special equipment to free the victim who was later handed over to the paramedics for further treatment.

The rescuers completed their operation at 9.14 am.
